In collaboration with World Vision International (WVI) and the World Food Programme (WFP), GTI is dedicated to enhancing the livelihoods of 75 beneficiaries by equipping them with essential skills. As part of this initiative, we are excited to offer three vocational courses designed to meet the diverse needs of our community. These courses will include Electric Installation, where participants will learn valuable technical skills; Beauty Salon training, enabling individuals to pursue careers in the beauty industry; and Plumbing, which will provide essential plumbing skills for both personal use and professional opportunities. Together, we aim to empower these individuals and improve their future prospects through quality vocational education.

With the invaluable support of Y-PEER Somalia, GTI successfully provided vocational training opportunities to a total of 70 enthusiastic beneficiaries. These hands-on courses encompassed a diverse range of valuable skills, including cooking and baking, carpentry, and electrical installation. Each program was designed to equip participants with practical knowledge and expertise, empowering them to enhance their employability and pursue rewarding career paths in their respective fields.

Thanks to the generous support of our dedicated crowd-donors, we were able to provide essential vocational skills training to a total of 60 disadvantaged youth. These young individuals had the opportunity to learn valuable skills in two specific areas: electrical installation and beauty salon services. This training not only equips them with the knowledge needed to pursue their careers but also empowers them to build a brighter future for themselves and their communities. In a collaborative effort with Y-PEER Somalia and Save the Children, GTI successfully delivered comprehensive employability skills training to a total of 60 beneficiaries. This program focused on equipping the trainees with essential enterprise-based skills that are currently in high demand within the market. By emphasizing practical knowledge and real-world applications, the training prepares participants to enhance their prospects for employment and contribute effectively to the workforce.

GTI has successfully implemented a comprehensive vocational training program aimed at empowering women and youth, in collaboration with esteemed partners Y-PEER and UNFPA. As part of this initiative, a total of 60 beneficiaries have received specialized training in three distinct skill areas: fashion design, renewable energy installation, and crochet. This program not only equips participants with valuable skills but also enhances their employability and entrepreneurial prospects in today's competitive job market. It also fosters economic independence and improves the livelihoods of individuals in the community.

In collaboration with the Dalbile Fund, which is expertly managed by UNFPA and generously funded by the European Union, GTI has taken significant steps to empower young individuals with entrepreneurial ambitions. We organized a series of dynamic entrepreneurship bootcamps specifically designed for young people eager to turn their business ideas into reality. These comprehensive training sessions encompassed a range of vital topics, including the processes of business ideation and the development of effective business plans. Participants also received guidance on essential skills such as pitching their ideas, exploring crowd-funding opportunities, and securing seed funding to launch their ventures. Through this initiative, we are dedicated to fostering the next generation of entrepreneurs and equipping them with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed in the competitive business landscape.

Empowering women through specialized training in fuel-efficient stove manufacturing within the energy sector is a transformative initiative that has positively impacted many lives. Recently, a group of 30 women from internally displaced person (IDP) communities received comprehensive training that equipped them with valuable marketable skills aimed at enhancing their livelihoods. Through this program, these women learned the essential techniques involved in creating fuel-efficient stoves, which not only contribute to sustainable energy practices but also provide them with a means to generate income. This training equips them with the knowledge and skills necessary to enter the energy market confidently, fostering both personal and economic empowerment.
